converts operational context into structured, evidence-backed advisories with human approval before any production action.

Three-Stage Advisory Pipeline
Context Construction
Astrikos detects anomalies, builds incident context with timestamps, affected assets, metric deviations and service relationships. Input is normalized and deduplicated.
Knowledge Retrieval (RAG)
Runbooks, SOPs and troubleshooting guides stored in S3 and indexed through Bedrock Knowledge Bases. Amazon OpenSearch serves as the vector search backend.
Grounded Advisory Generation
Amazon Bedrock analyzes incident context with retrieved knowledge and generates a structured advisory. Validated before operator review.
Foundation Model — Anthropic Claude (via Bedrock)
Selected after rigorous benchmarking against Amazon Titan and Meta Llama for superior root-cause narratives, structured output, grounding reliability and careful handling of uncertainty. The system explicitly indicates insufficient evidence rather than fabricating conclusions.

The solution incorporates a comprehensive security and responsible AI framework:
- VPC isolation with private subnets, API Gateway with controlled access and throttling
- AWS KMS encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, least-privilege IAM policies
- Human-in-the-loop approval required before any production-impacting action
- Clear separation of observed facts from AI-generated inferences in every advisory
- CloudTrail audit logging of all API activity including model and retrieval invocations

Gulf Kloud served as the end-to-end design and delivery partner — conducting discovery workshops to identify priority incident categories and baseline KPIs, designing the solution architecture spanning context construction, RAG retrieval and grounded advisory generation, performing foundation-model evaluation and benchmarking, developing the advisory pipeline with Bedrock Knowledge Bases, OpenSearch and the advisory API, establishing the security architecture including VPC design, IAM policies and KMS encryption, implementing responsible AI practices, and delivering knowledge-transfer sessions with an operational runbook for the Astrikos team.
